He reported for the Suttertown News and other publications, then reported on the 1993 presidential election in Indonesia for Pacifica radio network. Author of books and essays on various subjects, his latest work is the only publicly circulated, full length book on the thought and behavior of extraterrestrials. It can be read free at www.alienmindbook.org. George currently lives in Davis, California. He is excited to present his book to our group following up on a presentation featured on Coast to Coast with George Noory, and Jerry Pippin. About the February 28, 2009 MeetingThe February 28 meeting featured a presentation by Lia McVicker, A Northern Calfiornia Field Investigator. She presented a report on a MUFON investigation she recently conducted. The case involves a Modesto man who reported and photographed UFO's over his back yard on numerous occasions, along with associated paranormal activity. This case was assisted by fellow MUFON field investigator's: Shirley Wheeler (Lia's mother), Steve Reichmuth (N. Ca. MUFON Asst. State Dir.), Gene "Doc" Lipson, M.D. (Medical Director for MUFON) and a psychic. Lia brought several photos and discussed the current status of the case. About the Presenter: Lia has been a member of MUFON for approx. eight years. and joined because she believes the time will come when there will be irrefutable evidence for life on other planets and she wants to be on the knowledgeable edge of truth. Lia's approach to investigations is that while listening to someone talk about what they have seen or things that have gone on in their life, they may sound as if they are delusional, but listen as if you are their life line because they do need your help. They need you to be very interested in what is happening to them and understanding. They need to know they are not alone, be empathetic. | ||||||||||||
